Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 8th October 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BURNHAM DRIVE, BRADWELL COMMON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2484)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Hutichinson 3G undertake telecoms works:
Burnham Drive, Bradwell Common – Between Childs Way and Chesham Avenue
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed, the alternative route will be via Dansteed Way, Grafton Street and Bradwell Common Boulevard or Dansteed Way, Saxon Street, Portway and Hampstead Gate (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 19th – 23rd October 2026 between 9:30am and 4:30pm and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council on 8th October 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LOTHERDALE AND MOSSDALE, HEELANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2471)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Lotherdsale, Heelands – between numbers 17 and 19.
Mossdale, Heelands – between numbers 16 and 17
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed, there will be no alternative route.
The road closure will be in effect from 12th – 14th October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHILDS WAY, OLDBROOK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2480)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Hutchinson 3G undertake telecoms works:
Childs Way, Oldbrook – Between Grafton Street and Evans Gate
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed, the alternative route will be via Grafton Street, Portway and Witan Gate (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 12th – 15th October 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GLYN SQUARE, WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2496)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Cellnex undertake steel installation works:
Glyn Square, Wolverton – Its entire length
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed, there will be no alternative route.
The temporary restrictions will be in effect on 14th October 2026 between 9:30am until 4:30pm.

Public Notices for Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 8th October 2026:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BANBURIES CLOSE, WEST BLETCHLEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 (Reference TRO-485)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce no waiting between the hours of 08:15 and 09:15am and between 14:30 and 15:30pm, Monday to Friday along part of Banburies Close in West Bletchley.
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at:
www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/consultations.
Any representations or objections to the proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ, or by email to
quoting reference TRO-485 and to be received no later than 29th October 2026. Any representations received will be taken into consideration before the implementation of the scheme.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OLNEY ROAD, EMBERTON) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2026 (Reference TRO-486)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce a prohibition of right turn movements on Olney Road in Emberton at its northern junction with the A509.
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the Council’s website at:
