What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
QUARRY LANE, WOOLLEY MOOR

WHEN: 27 October 2026 (06:00 to 18:00).
WHERE: Quarry Lane, Woolley Moor from a point 200m south of its Jct. with the B6014 for a distance of 50m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate telegraph pole renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Quarry Lane, Ogston New Road, Church Lane, School Lane, White Carr Lane, B6014 Dark Lane, Unnamed Section of B6014, Quarry Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
