TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire & Humber) (No.19) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway at the junction of Wordsworth Avenue and Buchanan Road, at Sheffield in the City of Sheffield. This is to enable development as permitted by Sheffield City Council, under reference 23/02273/RG3.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@ dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/5830). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Parsons Cross Community Library Learning Centre, 320 Wordsworth Avenue, Sheffield S5 8NH.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 5 October 2026.
