What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION: RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING

The Council on 30/09/26 made the above Order, which will come into operation on 05/10/26. The effect is as stated in The Scotsman dated 05/09/25 (TRO/24/18), with changes as approved by the Traffic Regulation Orders Sub-Committee on 17 March 2026: reducing the extent of 24hr waiting restrictions on Turnhouse rd. Details of the made Order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed free of charge between 9:30 & 15:30 Mon-Fri from 02/10/26 to 13/11/26 at Calton Hub, Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG or online during the same period at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 30/09/26, apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
