What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

FOOTPATHS 9 AND 10, BRIGHTWELL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 9, Brightwell and Footpath 10, Brightwell from Bridleway 12 Brightwell to footpath 9 Brightwell to facilitate safety during construction of new development. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. There is no diversion route.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/10/2026 - 07/04/2027 (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U3124 FELIXSTOWE ROAD AND

U3219 OLD FELIXSTOWE ROAD,

TRIMLEY ST MARTIN AND STRATTON HALL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

? U3124, Felixstowe Road, Trimley St Martin from the junction with Old Felixstowe Road for

15 metres southbound

? U3219, Old Felixstowe Road, Stratton Hall from the junction with the A14 for 192 metres south westbound

This is to facilitate electricity network upgrades. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

? the diversion route for the U3124 will be

Felixstowe Road, Levington, Felixstowe Road,

Nacton, the A12, the A14, C355 from the A14 to

the C370, Howlett Way, High Road, not vice versa

? the diversion route for the U3219 is the A14,

Felixstowe Road, Nacton, Felixstowe Road, Levington,

not vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/10/2026 - 18/10/2026, but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
