Notice of Resolution to Execute Private Street Works
Wakedean Gardens, Yatton
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council, being the Street Works Authority for the purposes of Part XI of the Highways Act 1980, has resolved to execute street works in the private street identified above pursuant to Section 205 of the Highways Act 1980.
Inspection of resolution and approved documents: A copy of the resolution authorising the execution of the proposed street works, together with the approved plans, specifications and related documents, may be inspected at: North Somerset Council, Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1UJ during normal office hours between Monday to Friday 9.30am and 4.30pm, Saturday 9.30am and 2pm, Sunday – closed. The documents will be available for inspection from: Wednesday 30 September 2026 to Friday 30 October 2026.
Right to Object: Any owner of premises who may be liable to contribute towards the expenses of the proposed street works under the provisions of Part XI of the Highways Act 1980 may object to the proposal. Any objection must be made in writing, state the grounds of objection, and be delivered to the Street Works Authority at the address shown above. Objections may also be submitted by email to: wakedean.gardens@n-somerset.gov.uk
Written objections must be received no later than 30 October 2026
