ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

REGENT STREET (LOADING BAYS), LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Stopping and waiting in the loading bays on Regent Street, Leamington Spa between the Parade and Satchwell Court will be prohibited.

Reason for Order: To enable cable laying works.

Order Commences: 5 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 6 October 2026.

D4676 GOLF LANE, WHITNASH, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Phase 1 – Whitnash Road to Box Close, 7-8 October 2026. Phase 2 – Box Close to Fieldgate Lane, 9-13 October 2026. Reason for Order: Installation of traffic calming features and associated works, 09.30-15.30hrs weekdays only.

Order Commences: 7 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 13 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: Phase 1 Diversion: Whitnash Road, Murcott Road, Coppice Road, Morris Drive, Golf Lane and vice versa. Phase 2

Diversion: Fieldgate Lane, Mullard Drive, Box Close and vice versa.

B4455 FOSSE WAY, HUNNINGHAM/EATHORPE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Long Itchington Road and Barn Lane. In addition a temporary 40 mph speed limit will be imposed from the junction of Long Itchington Road to existing 40 mph speed limit at Princethorpe village name plate (both carriageways).

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 20.00-06.00hrs weeknights only. Speed limit is for the safety of all road users while the road is open during the day.

Order Commences: 2 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 13 October 2026. Access & Diversion: A423, A425, B4455 Fosse Way and vice versa.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH F04310 MILL BRIDGE (JEPHSON GARDENS), LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic between points either side of the Mill Bridge.

Reason for Order: Bridge maintenance works.

Order Commences: 5 October 2026 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 9 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: Newbold Terrace, Victoria Terrace, Priory Terrace, Mill Road, and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

NELSON LANE, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic

Reason for Order: To enable the repair/replacement of a manhole cover.

Order Commences: 20 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 21 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: Nelson Lane, Wharf Street, Cliffe Way and vice versa.

Contractor: CTM Ltd, Tel: 0330 008 0820.

RYTON ROAD (ACCESS ROAD), BUBBENHALL

Order Effect: Access road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To provide a safe working area for engineers to access telegraph poles in order to provide fibre overhead cabling.

Order Commences: 23 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 23 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: A445 Ryton Road.

THE OLD GATED ROAD, CHESTERTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Banbury Road and The Green.

Reason for Order: To enable works for replacement of bridge expansion joint.

Order Commences: 19 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: The Old Gated Road, Church Road, Windmill Hill Lane, Fosse Way, Banbury Road and vice versa.

WESTONBIRT CLOSE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties number 17 and 18.

Reason for Order: To enable duct laying works.

Order Commences: 19 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 21 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: Westonbirt Close, Bodnant Way, Rawnsley Drive, Tisdale Rise and vice versa.

Contractor: Sunbelt Remntals, Tel: 03700 500792.

OAKLEY WOOD ROAD, BISHOPS TACHBROOK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from B4100 Banbury Road to Underhill Way.

Reason for Order: To enable replacement of expansion bridge joints.

Order Commences: 19 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26  October  2026.

Access & Diversion: Banbury Road, Old Warwick Bypass, Europa Way, Myton Road, Old Warwick Road, Tachbrook Road, Harbury Lane, Oakley Wood Road and vice versa.

Contractor: UK Road Services, Tel: 020 8050 8530.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS,

ON STREET PARKING PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. 19) ORDER 2026

Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (District of Warwick) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places & Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017 (as varied) to:

(i) Implement Disabled Badge Holder’s Only parking bays as per Schedule 1.

(ii) Remove Disabled Badge Holder’s Only parking bays as per Schedule 2.

A copy of the Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at

  https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

SCHEDULE 1

IMPLEMENTATION OF DISABLED BADGE HOLDERS ONLY

Lansdowne Circus, Leamington Spa: Lansdowne Circus (No’s 1-18 section), West side, from a point 44 metres North of its Western junction with Lansdowne Circus, Northwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.

Rosefield Street, Leamington Spa: Northwest side from a point 76 metres Northeast of its junction with Wood Street North-eastwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.

Grove Street, Leamington Spa: West side from a point 9 metres South of its junction with Regent Street Southwards for distance of 6.6 metres.

Sharpe Close, Warwick: The Eastern of the 2 bays in the southern turning head at the end of Sharpe Close cul-de-sac section (2.4m x 4.8 m ) West Street, Warwick:

South-east side from a point 80 metres southwest of its junction with Castle Lane, south-westwards for 13 metres.

Pickard Street, Warwick:

(i) East side from a point 92 metres Southeast of its junction with Emscote Road, South-eastwards for a distance of 13  metres.

(ii) East side from a point 49 metres Southeast of its junction with Emscote Road, South-eastwards for a distance of 13  metres.

SCHEDULE 2

REVOCATION OF DISABLED BADGE HOLDERS ONLY:

Victoria Street, Leamington Spa:

East Side from a point 50m South of its junction with Archery Road Southwards for 6.6 metres to become ‘Limited Waiting 2 Hours No Return 4 Hours 8am-8pm Except Permit Holders (L5)’

Sharpe Close, Warwick:

East side from a point 26 metres South of its junction with Woodville Road for a distance of 6.6 metres to become “Resident Permit Holders (W6) Only”.
