NOTICE OF MAKING TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION ORDER
IN THE RABY AREA 2026
Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable works on or near the roads specified in the proposed order to take place.
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Benty Heath Lane (Temporary Road Closure) Raby Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close Benty Heath Lane, Raby at a point 130 metres east from its junction with Willaston Road for a distance of 300 metres to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route: Willaston Road, Raby Mere Road, Hargrave Lane, Benty Heath Lane.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 26 October 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 November 2026.

IN THE IRBY AREA 2026
Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council have made the above order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable proposed works to be executed on or near the roads specified in the proposed order (having already advertised notice of intent).
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Far Meadow Lane (Temporary Road Closure) Irby Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close Far Meadow Lane, Irby at its junction with Mill Hill Road for a distance of 30 metres in an easterly direction to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route: Far Meadow Lane, Heathbank Avenue, Mill Hill Road.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 19 October 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 08 November 2026.

Osborne Road (Temporary Road Closure) Wallasey Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close Osborne Road, Wallasey at its junction with Seabank Road to its junction with Osborne Avenue to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route: Seabank Road, Sandfield Road, Rake Lane, Osborne Avenue.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 19 October 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 October 2026.

Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable works on or near the roads specified in the proposed order to take place.
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Snowdon Road (Temporary Road Closure) Birkenhead Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close Snowdon Road, Birkenhead at a point 25 metres south from its junction with Irvine Road for a distance of 80 metres to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route: Snowdon Road, Mount Road, Ben Nevis Road, Irvine Road.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 26 October 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 October 2026.
WIRRAL BOROUGH COUNCIL (GRANGE ROAD WEST, BIRKENHEAD) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Take Notice that Wirral Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1) & 1(2), 2(1) to 2(3), 3 & 4 & 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter call ‘the Act’) and all of the other enabling powers, has on the 23rd of September 2026 made the Order set out in this notice.
The Order set out in this notice, which is currently operating on an experimental basis, did come into permanent operation on 23rd of September 2026.
A copy of the Order can be requested via email at trafficschemefeedback@wirral.gov.uk or via the contact centre 0151 606 2004. The documents are also deposited and available for inspection by visiting the licencing department, at the Councils Principal Office: Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton St, Wallasey CH44 8ED between 9.30am & 12pm and 2pm & 4pm, Monday to Friday, quoting the above scheme reference.
Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or any of its provisions are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under it has not been complied with may within 6 weeks from the 7th of October 2026 apply for that purpose to the High Court.
