The East Sussex (U6982 Glenleigh Walk, Robertsbridge)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Glenleigh Walk – for its full length.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 19 October 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 19 and 23 October 2026 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (U3165 Linton Road, Hastings)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow Southern Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Linton Road – from the junction with U3169 Priory Avenue to the junction with U3179 Braybrooke Terrace.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U3166 Linton Crescent – U3179 Braybrooke Terrace – U3178 Braybrooke Road – U3169 Priory Avenue and vice versa.
The Order commences 19 October 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 19 and 23 October 2026 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (C27 Powdermill Lane, Catsfield/Battle)
(Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026
To allow The English Heritage Trust to safely facilitate an event, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the following lengths of road to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:
Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit
Powdermill Lane – from the junction with A2100 Lower Lake to the junction with B2204 The Green.
The Order commences 8 October 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until the event is completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place between 8 and 12 October 2026.

The East Sussex (B2182 Cooden Sea Road, Bexhill)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 No.2
To allow Network Rail to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Cooden Sea Road – from the junction with B2182 Cooden Drive to the junction with U6543 The Gorses.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2182 Cooden Sea Road – U6527 Birkdale – U6543 Collington Avenue – U6536 Westcourt Drive – B2182 Cooden Drive and vice versa.
The Order commenced 23 June 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 7 and 8 October 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow Network Rail to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Bishops Lane – from the junction with C18 Station Road to the junction with C933 Heathfield Gardens.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C933 Heathfield Gardens – C18 George Hill, High Street, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 6 October 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 6 and 7 October 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U6551 Sackville Road, Bexhill)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Sackville Road – from the junction with B2098 Terminus Road to the junction with U6550 Western Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2098 Terminus Road, Buckhurst Place – A269 Town Hall Square, Buckhurst Road, Upper Sea Road – B2182 Sea Road, Marina, Sackville roundabout – U6551 Sackville Road and vice versa or via B2098 Terminus Road – U6535 Terminus Avenue – U6536 Westcourt Drive – U6547 Richmond Avenue – U6546 South Cliff – B2182 West Parade, Sackville roundabout – U6551 Sackville Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 5 October 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 5 and 19 October 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.
