What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
The Bromley (Waiting And Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No.***) Order 202* (Chipperfield Road And Leesons Hills) - T835

Notice Is Hereby Given that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The Effect Of The Order Would Be To:
(a) Introduce new No Waiting "at any time" restrictions as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
(b) Convert an existing No Waiting restriction operating Monday to Saturday between 8:00am and 6:30pm to No Waiting ‘at any time’ as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, plan and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday, at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereto to: The Assistant Director Of Traffic And Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting: Reference: - ADE(TP)/FD/SF/T835 no later than 4th November 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE 1:
Waiting Restrictions

No Waiting "At Any Time":-

Chipperfield Road,
(a) west side,
(i) from a point 2.7 metres south-west of the extended northern building line of Nos.1-6 Chipperfield Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 10.7 metres

Leesons Hill,
(a) north-west side,
(i) from its junction with Silverdale Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 17.7 metres,
(ii) from a point 6 metres north-east of the common building line of Nos. 107 & 109 in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 2 metres.
(b) south-east side,
(i) from a point 4.6 metres south-west of the common building line of Nos. 119 & 121 in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 18.7 metres.

SCHEDULE 2:
Waiting Restrictions

Convert Existing Waiting Restrictions Operating Monday To Saturday Between 8:00am And 6:30pm To No Waiting ‘At Any Time’ Restrictions:-

Chipperfield Road,
(a) east side,
(i) from a point 7.4 metres north of the extended northern building line of Nos. 1-6 Chipperfield Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 20.5 metres.
