Bydd y twmpath ffordd â brig crwn arfaethedig:

Construction of a New Road Hump in Brynamman
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Carmarthenshire County Council (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Council’), in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Regulations’) in accordance with Section 90C(1) of the Act, and in accordance with Sections 90C(2) and 90C(3) of the Act, intends to construct a new round top road hump along the A4069, Station Road in Brynamman, Carmarthenshire.
The road hump is intended to be centred at a location outside Number 53 Station Road in Brynamman and is more particularly shown on the plan annexed to this Notice.
The proposed round top road hump will:
• measure 75 millimetres (0.075 metres) in height, in line with the tolerances permitted by the Regulations (where a hump should not exceed a height of 100 millimetres);
• not be completely kerb-to-kerb in width; and
• have a curved top profile measuring 3700 millimetres (3.7 metres) in length.
Full details of the proposal, together with a plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for seeking to introduce this traffic calming measure, may be examined at the office of the Council’s Customer Service HWB at Number 41 Quay Street, Ammanford SA18 3BS during usual office hours.

The County of Carmarthenshire (School Lane, Ammanford) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along School Lane, Ammanford in its entirety.
Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.
There will be no alternative route.
The proposed Order will continue in force whilst Carmarthenshire County Council construct a highway support to repair a collapsed road.
It is intended that the works commence on Monday 26th October 2026 for a period of four months.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
