On 23rd September 2026 Cambridgeshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create Public Footpath No.8, Lolworth starting at OSGR TL: 3757 6443 at its junction with Public Footpath No.5, Lolworth, proceeding in a north easterly direction for approximately 2m to OSGR TL: 3757 6444, where the path crosses over a ditch via a culvert. Then continuing in a north easterly direction for approximately 8m to OSGR TL: 3758 6444. Then proceeding in an east-south-easterly direction for approximately 187m to OSGR TL: 3773 6434, then proceeding in a south easterly direction for approximately 17m to OSGR TL: 3775 6433, then proceeding in an east-south-easterly direction for approximately 38m to OSGR TL: 3778 6430, then proceeding in a south-south-easterly direction for approximately 27m to OSGR TL: 3776 6428, then proceeding in an east-south-easterly direction for approximately 53m to OSGR TL: 3781 6425, then proceeding in a south-south-westerly direction for approximately 19m to OSGR TL: 3780 6423, then proceeding in an east-south-easterly direction for approximately 9m to OSGR TL: 3781 6423 where it terminates at its junction with Public Bridleway No.1, Bar Hill.

On 23rd September 2026 Cambridgeshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create Public Footpath No.22, Fenstanton starting at OSGR TL: 3193 6767 at its junction with Conington Road, Fenstanton. Then proceeding in a south-south-easterly direction for approximately 2m to OSGR TL: 3193 6766. Then proceeding in a west-south-westerly curving round to a west-north-westerly direction for approximately 139m to OSGR TL: 3179 6766 where it terminates at its junction with Conington Road, Fenstanton (public road).

Cambridgeshire County Council has confirmed Concurrent Orders under sections 26 and 118 of the Highways Act 1980 to reorganise the Public Rights of Way in the parish of Conington. The effect of the Orders are detailed below:
(Public Footpath No.2, Conington) Public Path Extinguishment
Order 2026
The above Order, as confirmed on 23rd September 2026 under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish Public Footpath 2, Conington from OSGR TL: 3250 6682 on New Barns Lane, Conington proceeding in a north-easterly direction for approximately 896m to OSGR TL: 3306 6750 where it terminates at its junction with the A1307.
(Public Footpath No.5, Conington) Public Path Creation
Order 2026
The above Order, as confirmed on 23rd September 2026 under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, will create Public Footpath No.5, Conington from OSGR TL: 3257 6684 at its junction with New Barns Lane, Conington. Then proceeding in a northerly direction for approximately 7m to OSGR TL: 3257 6685. Then proceeding in an east-south-easterly direction following the field edge for approximately 378m to OSGR TL: 3294 6677. Then curving round to a north-easterly direction for approximately 217m to OSGR TL: 3308 6693. Then proceeding in a south-easterly direction for approximately 7m to OSGR TL: 3309 6693 where the path crosses over a ditch via a culvert. Then continuing in a south easterly direction for approximately 2m to OSGR TL: 3309 6692 where it terminates at its junction with New Barns Lane, Conington (public road).

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create Public Footpath No.6, Conington and Public Footpath No.23, Fenstanton starting at OSGR TL: 3216 6685 at its junction with Conington Road, Conington (public road). Then proceeding in a northerly direction for approximately 9m to OSGR TL: 3216 6686. Then proceeding in a north-westerly direction following the field edge for approximately 213m to OSGR TL: 3198 6698 where the footpath crosses a ditch via a culvert. Then continuing in a north-westerly direction for approximately 3m to OSGR TL: 3198 6699 where it terminates at its junction with Public Footpath 23, Fenstanton. Then proceeding in a north-westerly direction for approximately 85m to OSGR TL: 3191 6703 where the path crosses over a ditch via a culvert. Then continuing in a north-westerly direction for approximately 29m to OSGR TL: 3188 6704. Then proceeding in a south-westerly direction for approximately 5m to OSGR TL: 3188 6704 where it crosses over a ditch via a culvert. Then continuing in a south-westerly direction for approximately 4m to OSGR TL: 3188 6703 where it terminates at its junction with Conington Road, Fenstanton (public road).

On 23rd September 2026 Cambridgeshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to extinguish Public Footpath No.1, Conington from OSGR TL: 3216 6685 (Point A) proceeding in a northerly direction for approximately 415m to OSGR TL: 3217 6727 (Point B) where it terminates at its junction with Public Footpath 14, Fenstanton and Public Footpath No.14, Fenstanton starting at OSGR TL: 3217 6727 (Point B) proceeding in a north-north-easterly direction for approximately 128m to OSGR TL: 3220 6740 (Point C). Then proceeding in a north westerly direction for approximately 371m to OSGR TL: 3195 6767 (Point D) where it meets Conington Road, Fenstanton. It continues across the road in a north westerly direction for approximately 61m to OSGR TL: 3191 6772 (Point E) where it terminates at its junction with Public Footpath 6, Fenstanton.
