Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C208 Queens Road, from outside the property known as ‘Number 21’ to outside the property known as ‘Royan’ for a distance of approximately 30 metres. The reason for the closure is for Network Rail retaining wall inspection works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 21:00hrs on 11th October 2026 until 05:00hrs on 12th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4070 Slad Road from outside of the property known as ‘No.118 Slad Road’ to outside of the property known as ‘No.122 Slad Road’ for a distance of approximately 40 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401434 Water Lane from its junction with Brimscombe Hill to its junction with Swells Hill for a distance of approximately 225 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid.

The reason for the closure is for safety during installation of overhead fibre cables.

The said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 26th October 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This Order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 28th October 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for telecommunication installation works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF RESTRICTED BYWAY MR02, CLASS 5 HIGHWAY AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH ZST58 (RODBOROUGH PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Restricted Byway MR02 and Public Footpath ZST58 as described in the schedule below:

Restricted Byway MR02 & Class 5 Highway ‘Lane to Railway Track Butterrow Stroud’ from its junction at Butterrow Lane extending in a generally easterly direction for approximately 170 metres to its junction at Public Footpath ZST 58
Public Footpath ZST 58 from its junction with MR0 2 extending in a generally easterly direction for approximately 60 metres to its junction with Public Footpath ZST 97.
The closures are necessary to protect the public during essential drainage works.
The Order will come into force on the 26th October 2026 and it is anticipated that the Restricted Byway, Class Highway 5 and Public Footpath, will close on that day until 6th November 2026. However if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to six months from the date of the Order. After this, if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
