THE STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 21 CHEDDLETON PARISH
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 29/9/26 made an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 21 Cheddleton Parish from its junction with Brund Lane for approximately 656m in a generally north easterly direction. 

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to a dangerous tree.

No alternative route is available.

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order came into operation on 2/10/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 1/10/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 12/10/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 14/10/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 13/10/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/10/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
