What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (LINDEN GROVE, DANIELS ROAD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING, WAITING AND LOADING)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Southwark hereby gives notice that enable utility works by Thames Water Ltd, it intends to make an order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit parking, stopping, waiting and loading on sections of Linden Grove and Daniels Road.

2. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit parking, stopping, waiting and loading at the following locations:

(a) Linden Grove, whole car park area at entrance to Cemetery, southern kerbline for a distance of 90 metres.

(b) Daniels Road, from the junction of Linden Grove, for a distance of 30 metres, both sides of carriageway.

3. When barriers, cones and/or yellow lines are in place, no person shall cause a vehicle to park, wait, load or unload, including waiting for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods.

4. The restrictions would not apply to vehicles used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes or anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. This order comes into force on the 2nd of November 2026 and will be in force until works are completed, expected to be 11th of November 2026.
