MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary One Way Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC152755905: The City of Manchester (Hoyle Street, Piccadilly Ward)(Temporary One Way Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to make Hoyle Street One Way from Mancunian Way to Temperance Street (permitted direction of travel). The alternative routes for traffic will be: North Western Street, Fairfield Street, Mancunian Way, Hoyle Street. The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order facilitate Sewer Works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 22nd October 2026 to 29th April 2027.
The Order shall come into operation on 22nd October 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
