Temporary Closure of Blackwater Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Blackwater Road - from 228 metres east of the junction with Blindmoor Lane, eastwards for a total distance of 51 metres. This Order will enable RHJ Construction Ltd to carry out fire damage safety works.

The Order becomes effective on 7th October 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 14th October 2026 and last until 31st December 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 79 days.
