What is happening?

The North East Lincolnshire Borough Council

(Mill Road, Cleethorpes) (Revocation of No Loading Restrictions) (No.26-08) Order 2026 Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and regulation 7 of the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996

Notice is hereby given that on 6th October 2026 North East Lincolnshire Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') the effect of which will be to: -

1. To revoke a length of the No Loading At Any Time Restriction on the south-eastern kerb line of Mill Road, Cleethorpes, from its junction with St Peter's Avenue to its junction with West Street.

The Order will come into force on the 28th day of October 2026.

A copy of the sealed Traffic Regulation Order giving more detailed information including all Schedules, Plans and the Council's Statement of Reasons for introducing the Order are available via North East Lincolnshire Council's Website by searching 'Advertised TrafficRegulation Orders'. The full website address is: https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/roadsparking- transport/traffic-and-road-safety/traffic-regulationorders/.

Electronic copies can also be viewed on request at the Municipal Offices, Town Hall Square, Grimsby, during normal office hours.

If any person wishes to challenge the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
