Temporary Closure of Higher Easthams Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Higher Easthams Lane - from the junction with Yeovil Road, north-eastwards for a total distance of 51 metres. This Order will enable Champion Groundworks Ltd to lay a new storm drain on behalf of Taylor Wimpey.

The Order becomes effective on 21st October 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th October 2026 and last until 27th November 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 33 days.
