Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
in its capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance of
its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited
the use of the above named road to through traffic, from
100m North of junction to Old Mount Road to the junction of
400m South of 17 Cladymilltown Road from 08:00 on Friday
09 October 2026 until 18:00 on Saturday 24 October 2026.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be
maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate work by DFI Southern.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted
via:
B78 Markethill Road, B78 The Common, A29 Armagh
Street, A29
Armagh Road, B31 Armagh Road, B31 Newtownhamilton
Road, B3
Coolmillish Road, U8021 Fairgreen Road, B78 Mowhan
Road, B3 Null, B78 Cladymilltown Road.
