SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF BOLTON LANE, WILBERFOSS
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
part of Bolton Lane, Wilberfoss from the junction with
A1079 Hull Road to the junction with Newbridge Lane,
Yapham commencing 6 November 2026 between
08.00 hours and 16.00 hours to allow for patching
works. The road closure is necessary to enable the
works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid
for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works
will be completed within one day. The alternative
route for traffic affected by the road closure will be
via Newbridge Lane,Yapham, Sand Lane, Wilberfoss,
A1079 Hull Road and Bolton Lane, Newton Upon
Derwent CP, Wilberfoss CP, Fangfoss CP, Pocklington
Provincial Ward, Wolds Weighton Ward. The diversion
route will be signed at the time of closure. The road
will be closed to all through traffic but access will
be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and
pedestrians. Further information can be obtained
