O 17/10/26 a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Ffordd Pentre Bychan, Rhostyllen, o’r gyffordd â’r B5426 Lôn yr Efail hyd at y gyffordd â’r B5097 Ffordd Bronwylfa, am bellter o 736m, i alluogi Lewis & Hunter i wneud gwaith arwynebu ar ran Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam. Bydd y gwaith yn digwydd mewn dau gam tra bod yr Amlosgfa ar gau:
- 17 a 18 Hydref 2026 (2 ddiwrnod)
- 24 i 27 Hydref 2026 (4 diwrnod)
Mae’r llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt yn mynd ar hyd y B5097 Ffordd Bronwylfa, y B5098 o Gwrt Croesfoel i’r B5097 Ffordd Bronwylfa, y B5605 Ffordd Wrecsam a’r B5426 Lôn yr Efail, a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr tra bydd y ffordd ar gau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am 6 diwrnod (27/10/26), neu nes cwblhau’r gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, ond gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
effective from 17/10/2026 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Pentre Bychan Road, Rhostyllen, from its junction with B5426 Smithy Lane to its junction with B5097 Bronwylfa Road, for a distance of 736m, to enable Lewis & Hunter to undertake resurfacing works on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council. Works will take place in two phases whilst the Crematorium is on shutdown:
- 17th and 18th October 2026 (2 days)
- 24th to 27th October 2026 (4 days)
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via B5097 Bronwylfa Road, B5098 Lane from Croesfoel Court to B5097 Bronwylfa Road, B5605 Wrexham Road and B5426 Smithy Lane, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 6 days (27/10/26), or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
