What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BURLAND GREEN LANE, WESTON UNDERWOOD
WHEN: 26 October to 31 March 2027.
WHERE: Burland Green Lane, Weston Underwood from Jct. of Bullhurst Lane to Gunhills Lane.
REASON: To facilitate the renewal of approx. 2.75km of existing water mains.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Woodfall Lane, Cumberhills Road, Kedleston Road, Bullhurst Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
