North Road (D3665) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of North Road (D3665) Woking as extends from its junction with Walton Road (C143) to a point 26 metres northwest of this junction.
Alternative route – Courtenay Road, Omega Road and Walton Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to facilitate a new water connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 2 November 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
West Hill Road (D3690) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of West Hill Road (D3690) Woking as extends from its access with the property known as “West Hill Lodge” to its junction with (D3693) Wych Hill Lane. Alternative Route: Wych Hill Lane, Mount Hermon Road, Midhope Road, A320 Guildford Road, (A320) Turnoak Roundabout and Wych Hill Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate water mains repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 November 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access is affected by this closure.
Bassett Road (D3730) Maybury and Elmbridge Lane (D3717) Kingfield Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Bassett Road (D3730) Maybury;
(b) Elmbridge Lane (D3717) Kingfield. Alternative Route:
(1) Balmoral Drive, Windsor Way, and Princess Road, or this route in reverse; (2) (A247) Kingfield Road, (A247) High Street, Shackleford Road, Rydens Way, and Sundridge Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate footway slurry works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 14 days and as soon possible within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 02 November 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for residents and emergency service vehicles will be maintained when and if it is safe to do so, access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route.
