Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 07 October 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;
(a) Wellington Lane (D5348) Farnham as extends from its junction with (A325) Farnborough Road to its junction with (D5348) The Fairway; and (b) Suspend any One-Way Order made or having effect as if made under Sections 82, 83 and/or 84 of the Act insofar as affects the length of road described in (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Wellington Lane, Upper Weybourne Lane, and (A325) Farnborough Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Durkin and Sons. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 19 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure and suspension, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Weybourne Road (B3007) and Monkton Lane (B3367) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 2 October 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- 1. Weybourne Road (B3007) Farnham as extends from its junction with Monkton Lane (B3367) to its junction with A325 at Hale Roundabout; and 2. Monkton Lane (B3367) Farnham as extends from its junction with Weybourne Road (B3007) to a point 50 metres southeast of this junction. Alternative route – 1. A325 (Farnborough Road), B3208 (Water Lane) and B3367 (Monkton Lane), or this route in reverse. 2. B3367 (Monkton Lane), B3208 (Water Lane), A325 (Farnborough Road) and B3007 (Weybourne Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate raised table installation and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained when it is safe to do so. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Crondall Lane (C120) Dippenhall and Tilford Road (C28) Tilford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- 1. Crondall Lane (C120) Dippenhall as extends from its junction with Doras Green Lane (D5329) to its junction with Dippenhall Road (C123); and 2. Tilford Road (C28) Tilford as extends from its junction with Stockbridge Road (D108) to its junction with Lions Mouth Road (X68233).
Alternative route – 1. Crondall Lane, Dipenhall Street, Pankridges Street, Bowling Alley, A287 (Farnham Road, Odiham Road, Folly Hill, Castle Hill, Castle Street and The Borough), B3228 (West Street) and Crondall Lane, or this route in reverse. 2. Tilford Road, Menin Way, B3001 (Waverley Lane and Farnham Road), The Green, Thursley Road, Pitch Place, Thursley Road and Tilford Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate carriageway pre-patching preparatory works, surface dressing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 4 November 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. Access for cyclists will not be maintained and cyclists will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) Public Footpath 96 (Farnham)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 01 October 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along that length of Public Footpath 96 (Farnham) which extends for 88 metres from its junction with Bear Lane (Grid ref: 484001 147060) to its junction with Lower South View (Grid ref: 484071 147109).
The order is necessary for public safety to enable reinforcement of the high voltage electrical network. The closure will be in operation for a period of one month from 05 October 2026 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.
The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the county council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.
The alternative route for traffic from the western end of closure will be north-west via Bear Lane, north-east via High Park Road, south-east via Upper South View and south-west via Lower South View. Total length of alternative route: 498 metres.
The alternative route for traffic from the eastern end of the closure will be the reverse of the route described above.
“The Surrey County Council Public Footpath 96 (Farnham) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” was made by the county council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 15 October 2026 Surrey County Council will make the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Public Footpath 21 (Farnham) from point grid ref: 484081 145890 to point grid ref: 483981 145830.
The Order is necessary in the interest of public safety due to works being undertaken on or near the highway. The closure will be in operation for a period of 1 month from 19 October 2026 or completion of the works – extendable by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.
The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.
The alternative route for traffic from grid ref: 484081 145890 will be to head west on Searle Road for 235 metres, then head north on Firgrove Hill (A287) for 212 metres. Then head South West on Arthur Road for 326 metres, then head south on Weydon Hill Road for 233 metres to grid ref: 483981 145830.
