TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHERE AND WHAT:
Westover Road (northern side)
• The existing payment parking bay shall be used exclusively as a disabled parking bay, from a point outside the shared property boundary of No.23 and No.24/25, running in a south-easterly direction to a point outside the shared property boundary of No.26 and No.27/28
No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time –
• Suspension of payment parking – from a point outside the shared property boundary of No.26 and No.27/28, running in a south-easterly direction to a point approx.4m south-west of the shared property boundary of No.29 and No.30
• Suspension of payment parking – for the entire length of the bay, from a point approx.4m south of the shared property boundary of No.30 and No.31/32, running in a south-easterly direction to a point approx.4m south of the shared property boundary of No.33 and No.34
• Suspension of disabled parking bay – for the entire length of the bay, from a point approx.4m south-east of the shared property boundary of No.33 and No.34, running in a south-easterly direction to a point approx.5m south-east of the shared property boundary of No.34 and No.36
• Suspension of payment parking bay – from a point approx.5m south-east of the shared property boundary of No.34 and No.36, running in a south-easterly to a point approx.20m south-west of the shared property boundary of No.48 and No.49
WHY: To facilitate new electrical connection by SSE
WHEN: Anticipated dates 19 October 2026 until 14 November 2026
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
