(Aldingbourne: Level Mare Lane)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Level Mare Lane in Aldingbourne, from Fontwell Avenue (A29) westwards to Denmans Lane.
The road closure is needed to maintain safety while carriageway maintenance is carried out.
The Order will come into effect on 5 October 202 and remain in force until 12 October 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
It is intended that the road will be closed only in the daytime (0800 to 1700) during these works. When the road is closed alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site and access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Felpham: Public Footpath 3800)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Public Footpath 3800 in Felpham from its junction with Public Footpath 3801 south-eastwards to Arun Leisure Centre.
The closure of this route is needed to maintain public safety due to a damaged footbridge.
The Order continues the effect of a previously issued emergency closure notice and came into effect on 30 September 2026. It will remain in force for 6 months or until the footbridge is repaired, whichever is earlier.
Unfortunately, during the operative periods of this order, no alternative route is available via the public rights of way network. Any queries about the effect of the Order should be directed to the WSCC Public Rights of Way Team, telephone number 01243 777620. Ref: TTRO-2044- MM
(Slindon: Slindon Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Slindon Road in Slindon, from its junction with Slindon Bottom Road, eastwards for 550m.
The road closure is needed to allow maintenance to watermains to be carried out in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 19 October 2026 and remain in force until 22 December 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Bosham: Public Footpath No. 230
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along the length of Public Footpath No. 230 from its northern end at its junction with Main Road (grid reference 480438, 105285), southwards to its junction with Public Footpath 2824 (grid reference 480401, 104563), a distance of approximately 850m.
Unfortunately there are no available alternative routes using the Public Rights of Way network.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety due to coastal erosion undermining the footpath.
The Order will come into operation on the 5 October 2026 and will continue for 6 months or until it is safe to reopen the path.
