TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF ALBION STREET, STATION APPROACH, CHANTRY ROAD, AND MILL ROAD, SAXMUNDHAM SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing Albion Street and Station Approach, followed by Mill Road and Chantry Road, for all persons, to facilitate rail signalling works.
The vehicle diversion route for both closures will be B1119 Rendham Road, A12, B1121. The pedestrian diversion route for the closure of Albion Street and Station Approach will be Rendham Road, Mill Road, Chantry Road and High Street. The pedestrian diversion route for the closure of Mill Road and Chantry Road will be Rendham Road, Albion Street, Station Approach and High Street.
It is intended that the closures will operate between 26 October and 30 October 2026, with either Albion Street and Station Approach, or Mill Road and Chantry Road open at any time. Enquiries should be made to Sizewell C Information Office at 48-50 High Street, Leiston, IP16 4EW between 9.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
