What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE THE TOWN, LITTLE EATON
WHEN: 26 October to 20 November 2026
WHERE: The Town, Little Eaton between the Jct. of Alfreton Road, and the Jct. with Barley Close.
REASON: To facilitate paving, kerbing and other works in connection with LEBL Greenway Scheme.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Alfreton Road, Barley Close and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
