What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

(Public Footpath Nos. 16 & 17, Parish of Stoke Mandeville) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 made on 06 April, 2025, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 7 October 2027.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.16, Stoke Mandeville, from the junction of Public Footpath No.16/5 north north west for approx. 50M and Public Footpath No 17 from the junction of Public Footpath No. 16/5 west south west for 100M. There is no alternative route.
