The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.18) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up irregular shaped western part width of Tremona Road at Southampton the City of Southampton. This is to enable development as permitted by Southampton City Council under reference 25/01329/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/6369). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Waterloo Road Post Office, 13-15 Thompsons, Warren Avenue, Southampton, SO16 6AS.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 2 October 2026.
