Ullswater Road - Temporary Road Closure due to Linkbox Replacement Works
What is happening?
THE CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (ULLSWATER ROAD) (ROAD CLOSURE) (216/67) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.
1. The effect of the Order will be to close Ullswater Road from its junction with Windermere Avenue to Mansel Road East.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for linkbox replacement works.
3. The alternative route will be Mansel Road East, Wimpson Lane and Windermere Avenue.
4. The Order will come into force on 22nd October 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 11th November 2026.
