TEMPORARY CLOSURE 405047 LANSDOWN WALK
(WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily
close part of the 405047 Lansdown Walk, from outside the property known
as ‘Lansdowne House’ to outside the property known as ‘The Cobble’ for a
distance of approximately 62 metres. The reason for the closure is for sewer connection works to a new build house.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 12th October 2026 until 17:00hrs on 13th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 406075 GREENWAY
ROAD
(CINDERFORD TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 406075 Greenway Road from outside the rear of the property known as ‘No.55 Church Road’ to outside the rear of the property known as ‘No. 59 Church Road’ for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The reason for the closure and restriction is for works on behalf of Severn
Trent Water
There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the
duration of the said works.
The road is expected to be closed and restricted between the hours of 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 14th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

close part of the C34 Church Road from outside of the property known as
‘Courtleet’ to outside of the property known as ‘The Coach House’ for a
distance of approximately 170 metres. The reason for the closure is for works to carriageway

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C25 Awre Road from outside of the property known as ‘Well Cottage’ to a point 70 metres East of Well Cottage for a total distance of approximately 70 metres. The reason for the closure and restrictions is for works on behalf of Network Plus.
There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the
duration of the said works.
The road is expected to be closed and restricted between 08:00hrs and
18:00hrs on 28th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not
completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen
months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400187 Pine Tree Way from outside the property known as ‘Amberley’ to outside the property known as ‘Amber Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 125 metres. The reason for the closure is for new water connection works
The road is expected to be closed from 29th October 2026 until 31st October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH RWD33
(WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council Intend to Make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpath RWD33
from its junction with the B4234 in a generally south easterly direction for
approximately 185 metres.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst geotechnical investigations take place.
The Order will come into force on the 19th October 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 11th December 2026.
However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may
remain in force for up to six months or until the said works have been
completed, whichever is sooner After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
