THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (ALLEN STREET) 2026

The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.

Aleen Street to be closed from the junction of the Abingdon Villas to the junction of Adam and Eve Mews

The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.

The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 19th October 2026 until 18.00hrs on Friday 23rd October 2026, with backup dates of Monday 26th October 2026 until Friday 30th October 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. 

Diverted through traffic may use Abingdon Road, Earl's Court Road, Kensington High Street, Allen Street, in either direction.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers. Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.

• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
