EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Lifnock Avenue, Hurlford) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026

On 06 October 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Power Works.

Road Closure – Lifnock Avenue, Hurlford

Lifnock Avenue - From Outside No.49 Lifnock Avenue to junction with Richardson Avenue for 42m.

No Waiting At Any Time – Lifnock Avenue, Hurlford

Lifnock Avenue - From Outside No.49 Lifnock Avenue to junction with Richardson Avenue for 42m both sides of carriageway.

The Order commences on 19 October 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 19 October 2026 at 08:00 until 30 October 2026 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Access for Emergency Services,residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

An alternative route is Richardson Avenue, Kerrmuir Avenue, Cessnock Drive, Sherwood Road, Lifnock Avenue and vice versa.

(U29 Halket Road, Lugton) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026

On 06 October 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.

Temporary Road Closure – U29 Halket Road, Lugton, Full length of road.

The Order commences on 19 October 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 19 October 2026 at 07:00 until 30 October 2026 at 17:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed via C100, U21, A735 and vice versa.

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Cemetery Road , Galston) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026

On 06 October 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Water Connection.

Temporary Road Closure – Cemetery Road, Galston For 38.95m from junction with Cessnock Road.

The Order commences on 20 October 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 20 October 2026 at 08:00 until 10 November 2026 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected.

Access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route

An alternative route will be signed via Cessnock Road - Station Road - Wallace Street - Barr Street - Cemetery Road and vice versa.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Princes Street, Tarbolton) (Temporary Road Closure and Suspension of One Way Operation) Order 2026

On 1 October 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for Scottish Water works.

Temporary Road Closure – Princes Street, Tarbolton From junction with Back Street to No. 19 Princes Street.

Suspension of One Way Operation - Princes Street, Tarbolton. One Way System to be revoked from its junction with Back Street to its junction with Montgomerie Street.

The Order commences on 20 October 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 20 October 2026 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 27 October 2026 at 17:30.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Access for Emergency Services, residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route only.

Alternative routes will be signed via -
• Montgomerie Street, Sandgate Street Smithfield Crescent, Beechwood Road.
• Back Street - Sandgate Street - Montgomerie Street.

(B744, Tarbolton) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026

On 01 October 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.

Temporary Road Closure – B744 Largie Toll to Railway Bridge for 2km

No Waiting At Any Time - B744 Largie Toll to Railway Bridge for 2km both sides of carriageway.

The Order commences on 19 October 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 19 October 2026 at 08:00 until 06 November 2026 at 17:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed via B744, B730, A719,A76, B744 and vice versa.
