Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) and the Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restrictions and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 (Temporary Suspension (Part)) Order 2026

Order made: to close that part of U63200 Edith Walk from its junction with A449 Belle Vue Terrace for a distance of 40 metres in an easterly direction and to temporarily part suspend the Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restrictions and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 on Edith Walk to allow for access to residents and businesses for the duration of the notice.

Reason: Utility work by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4211 Church St, C2232 Graham Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days

Commencing: 5 October 2026

(U61028 Heath Hill, Upton upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of U61028 Heath Hill from its junction with B4211 Holdfast to its junction with U61028 Queenhill.

Reason: Civil works by Openreach.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4211 Holdfast, U61029 Longdon Heath, U61029 Holdfast, U61029 Queenhill, U61028 Queenhill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days

Commencing: 26 October 2026

(U63428 Merton Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) and (One-Way Traffic) (Temporary Suspension) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of U63428 Merton Rd from its junction with U63429 Merton Rd to its junction with U63430 Hampden Rd and to temporarily suspend the One-Way Traffic Order relating to U63428 Merton Rd, to allow access to residents and businesses for the duration of the work.

Reason: To replace defect manhole cover by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U63428 Merton Rd (part), U63425 Church Rd, U63427 Richmond Rd, A449 Worcester Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day

Commencing: 29 October 2026

(C2206 Stocks Lane, Leigh Sinton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2206 Stocks Ln from its junction with U62241 Hoopers Cl for a distance of 585 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Reason: Drainage work by Lioncourt Homes.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Rd, B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Leigh Sinton Rd, B4503 Newtown Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, C2206 Service Rd Worcester Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days

Commencing: 26 October 2026

(A4104 Drake Street, Welland) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of A4104 Drake St from its junction with B4208 Gloucester Rd to its junction with Spring Meadows Cl (private road).

Reason: New customer connection by National Grid UK

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4208 Gloucester Rd, B4208 Garrett Bank, B4208 Garrent Bank to Danemoor Cross, B4208 Blackmore Park Rd, B4209 Hanley Rd, B4209 Hanley Swan to Roberts End, B4209 Roberts End to B4209 Hanley Castle, B4209 Hanley Castle, B4211 Hanley Castle, B4211 Hanley Rd, A4104 Church St, A4104 High St, A4104 Old St, A4104 Tunnel Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs)

Commencing: 27 October 2026

(U61614 Rectory Lane, Madresfield) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of U61614 Rectory Ln from its junction with C2102 Madresfield Village for a distance of 140 metres in a Westerly direction.

Reason: New customer connection by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2102 Madresfield Village, U63347 Madresfield Village, U63347 North End Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs)

Commencing: 27 October 2026

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
