MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000152786752: The City of Manchester (Fairfield Street,Piccadilly Ward)(Temporary Suspension of Bus Lane & No Waiting No Loading) Order 2026under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to suspend the operation of the bus lane on Fairfield Street from Travis Street to Wyre Street thereby permitting the use of that part of the carriageway by all motor vehicles. The City Council is satisfied that this suspension is necessary in order to from Travis Street to Wyre Street.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 21st October 2026 to 31st December 2026. The order shall come into operation on 21st October 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period..
