DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, a fydd yn para chwe mis ar y mwyaf. Mae angen cau'r llwybr troed yma er diogelwch y cyhoedd.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TY MAWR FOOTBRIDGE, HIRWAUN)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have a maximum duration of six months.
The closure is necessary in the interest of public safety.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the following section of path:-
Footpath Closure
Footpath 10 Hirwaun – footbridge crossing the River Cynon, known as Ty Mawr Footbridge, located at what3words ///divided.briskly.outbursts or National Grid Reference SN9572805774
Alternative Route – pedestrians are advised to use the existing highway network.
Access for emergency services WILL NOT be maintained.
The closure is expected to be in operation during the following dates, or until such time as the works have been completed: -
• From 18th October 2026 for 6 months
