(Amendment No. H29) Order 20-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking place opposite Nos.

377 and 379 King Henry’s Drive.

b) Designate a new parking place at which vehicles

displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left

without charge or time limit in the following location.

  1. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk. 

  2. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/H28 & H29 by 22 October 2026.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

  2. The general effect of the Orders would be to introduce “at any time” double yellow line waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

  3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk. 

    1.     ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14

    AS AMENDED

    THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS)

    ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

    CHIPSTEAD VALLEY ROAD, COULSDON

    TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

    1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate electric cabling works on behalf of UKPN, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Chipstead Valley Road will be closed between its junctions with Woodcote Grove Road and Brighton Road.

    3. During the closure, the diversion route for vehicles will be as detailed below.

      • Via Lion Green Road, Brighton Road and vice versa.

    4. The Order will come into operation on 20 October 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 29 October 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

    5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

      (a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

      (b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

      (c) a vehicle involved in conducting the said work.
