Dark Lane & Snoddington Road, Fyfield, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Dark Lane between its junction with Rose Lane and its junction with Snoddington Road. Snoggington Road between its junction with Dark Lane and its junction with Stanbury Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dark Lane, Saddlers Mews. Fyfield Lane, A342, Tidworth Road, Deacon Road, Kimpton Lane, Water Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 21st October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days working between the hours 08:00-18:00).
