B3400 London Road & the Middleway, Andover, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to cabling works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: B3400 London Road between the points 100 metres East of its junction with The Middleway and 540 metres West of its junction with The Middleway. The Middleway between its junction with B3400 London Road and continuing to a point 110 metres South on The Middleway.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: B3400, Winchester Street, A34, A303, A3093, B3400. B3408, A303, A3093, B3400.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 21st October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The Temporary Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to complete cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk.
