THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(BATE STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Bate Street, in both directions, from
outside properties 7-9. Access/egress to be
maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 12th October 2026 until
15th October 2026.
The Order is required to facilitate works for a long
comm pipe install by Severn Trent Water.
