HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") Wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1.     Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 9fed Hydref 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. . Disgwylir i'r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 9fed Hydref 2026, gan weithio rhwng 09:30 a 15:30.  

2.     Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith Ffeibr BT mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.  Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau.  

3.     Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o’r R94 Llanishen i Groes Tyndyrn, Grange Tryleg, Sir Fynwy, ~255m o’r gyffordd gyda Heol Gethley am ~350m.

4.     Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: R94 Llanishen i Groes Tyndyrn, B4293 , R92 Tryleg i Ceciliford, Ceciliford, Heol Gefn, Heol Catbrook, Heol Whitelye, Heol Tryleg, A466, Heol Forge ac i’r gwrthwyneb.  

5.     Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro R94 Llanishen i Groes Tyndyrn, Grange Tryleg, Sir Fynwy 2026.  

6.     Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(R94 LLANISHEN TO TINTERN CROSS, TRELLECH GRANGE, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1.     The Order came into operation on the 9th October 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 9th October 2026, operating between 09:30-15:30  

2.     The order was necessary for BT Fibre works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3.     The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of R94 Llanishen to Tintern Cross, Trellech Grange, Monmouthshire, ~255m from its junction with Gethley Road for ~350m.  

4.     A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- R94 Llanishen to Tintern Cross, B4293 , R92 Trellech to Ceciliford, Ceciliford, Back Road, Catbrook Road, Whitelye Road, Trellech Road, A466, Forge Road and vice versa.  

5.     This order may be cited as the  R94 Llanishen to Tintern Cross, Trellech Grange, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026  

6.     By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
