CITY OF BRISTOL

(COTHAM BROW, COTHAM, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Cotham Brow which extends from Brookfield Lane to Eastfield Road.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 26th October 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 26th October 2026 and 30th October 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cotham Brow (part unaffected), Cheltenham Road, Zetland Road, Redland Road, Lower Redland Road, Elgin Park, Hampton Road, Cotham Road, Cotham Brow (part unaffected) and vice versa.

(BELLE VUE ROAD, EASTON, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Belle Vue Road which extends from Greenbank Road to Robertson Road.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 26th October 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 26th October 2026 and 4th December 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Belle Vue Road (part unaffected), York Road, Devon Road, Whitehall Road, Gordon Road, Rose Green Road, Royate Hill, Fishponds Road, Robertson Road and vice versa.

(COLLEGE ROAD AND MANOR ROAD, FISHPONDS, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 26th October 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 26th October 2026 and 16th December 2026 – please see Schedule 2 below for more details).

4. Manor Road – Eastbound carriageway: from Access to St. Mary’s Church to Victoria Park

(VARIOUS ROADS, REDFIELD, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and

2. to suspend, temporarily, when appropriate signs are covered, the existing one way traffic working:
(a) southwards in Edward Street;
(b) southwards in Glbert Road; and
(c) northwards in Victoria Parade – so as to allow access and egress for works vehicles.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 26th October 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 26th October 2026 and 27th August 2027, with each closure being between 1 and 4 months duration within the period).
