Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Elizabeth Drive, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Victoria Avenue for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gardiners Lane North, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with London Road to its junction with Borwick Lane a distance of approximately 875m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th October 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30078969244 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Temporary Introduction of 40 MPH Speed Restriction) (No.8) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction in that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 8th October 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.9) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point, as specified in schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily suspend the Bus Gate at Long Riding, Basildon from a point approximately 84m west of the western kerb line at Fairlop Gardens, west for approximately 40m as detailed in ‘The Essex County Council (Long Riding, Basildon) (Bus Gate) Order 2020 for the duration of the Long Riding, Basildon closures only.

4. To introduce a temporary banned left turn from Upper Mayne into Cranes Farm Road when Cranes Farm Road is closed.

5. To introduce a temporary banned Right turn from Cranes Farm Road into Miles Gray Road during the Cranes Farm and Miles Gray Road closures only.
