READING BOROUGH COUNCIL

(WOKINGHAM ROAD) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026

Reading Borough Council intend to make an Order in accordance with section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to temporarily suspend the parking bays outside numbers 3-15 Wokingham Road and introduce a no stopping, waiting or loading/unloading restriction within those bays. If made, the Order will come into force from 12-14 October 2026. Should the works take longer than expected the restriction will remain in force for up to 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is earlier. The Order is necessary to facilitate works on the footway.
