TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 26/3/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 1 Swindon Parish, from its junction with The Holloway for approximately 348 metres in a south easterly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 0.79 Swindon Parish. The closure is required to facilitate construction works at the Cadent Gas Operational Site.
An alternative route is available and is signposted on site.
A plan has been displayed on site to show the alternative route provided, length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 30/3/26 and has been extended for a further period of nine months, until 30/6/27 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.
