Notice is hereby given that the ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above Order under sections 1, 2 and 3 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the Order: To permanently continue in force the experimental 2.0m/6’6" width restriction on Sheering Lower Road from a point approximately 16m north of its junction with Sheering Road northwards for approximately 7m which was introduced on 15 April 2025
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 05 October 2026.

1. To temporarily suspend the banned right hand, turn from Fifth Avenue, Harlow in the District of Harlow into Burntmill Lane, Harlow as cited in "The Essex County Council (A414 Fifth Avenue (northbound), Harlow) (Prohibition of Right-Hand Turn) Order 2014".

(Various Roads, District Of Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic & Temporary Introduction Of A Clearway) Order (No.6) 2026
Notice is hereby given that the ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect Of The Order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in the Schedule.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 24th September 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network.
These roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
