A62 LEEDS ROAD TO HILLHOUSE LANE, HUDDERSFIELD
The Council of the Borough of Kirklees have made the above Order under their powers in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which, as it affects lengths of road in the Huddersfield area of the Kirklees district, will be to:
• Introduce a no left turn restriction for vehicles with a weight equal to or greater than 7.5 tonnes from A62 Leeds Road to Hillhouse Lane, Huddersfield
This Order was made on 29 September 2026 and will take effect on 05 October 2026.
A copy of this Order, together with the plan showing the affected lengths of road and a detailed statement of reasons for making the Order may be examined at:-

Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it, have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 05 October 2026.
