NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U92404, Stocking Lane, Lucton, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92404, Stocking Lane, Lucton, outside of the property '1 Holland Bungalows'. Grid Ref: 343964/264411.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4362, then onto the C1040 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to trenching and reinforcement works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
